Error executing script War: No such property: stagingDir for class:_Events

While trying out my new Morph Grails hosting account, I installed the morph-deploy plugin and then promptly discovered that 'grails war' failed with

Error executing script War: No such property: stagingDir for class: _Events


It turns out this is a known problem with Grails 1.1 and the solution is to delete the _Events.groovy file in

[your home dir]/.grails/1.1/projects/[your application]/plugins/morph-deploy-0.1/scripts

JUnit parameterized test with Spring autowiring AND transactions

Now, when introducing Spring into the mix there are a couple of extra things to do . Slow, Buffering, Stuttering Udemy Video

Udemy video has been completely unusable from my home broadband connection. Videos would take minutes to start playing and then continuously stutter and buffer. Searching for a solution I came across this Reddit post - and I found the solution was to change my DNS to use CloudFlare (1.1.1.1). After changing my AppleTV from automatic DNS to manual and using 1.1.1.1 video playback from the Udemy app has been as you would expect. I don't know why this helps, but it seems to have so far.
